The ATLAS Series of IADs offers the highest capacity and most advanced set of networking services. From a single platform, ATLAS can support multiple technologies including T1, T3, ISDN, IP routing, and Frame Relay. IT managers and network engineers of small, medium and large enterprise networks may choose ATLAS for its ISDN conversion and oversubscription features, T1 Inverse Multiplexing, ISDN PRI/BRI switching, multiple T1/PRI DACSing and grooming, Frame Relay concentration/switching, compressed voice, T3 applications, and videoconferencing.
This multi-T1/PRI enterprise platform converges voice, data, video, and Internet traffic through dynamic bandwidth allocation, T1 Inverse Multiplexing, circuit switching, and packet routing. The ATLAS 550 is designed for the small-to-medium networks with one to 18 T1/PRI ports, while the ATLAS 830 is designed for medium-to-large networks that require up to 34 T1/PRI ports or a T3. The ATLAS 890 supports up to 64 T1/PRI ports or a T3 and can be used in networks that require full system redundancy.
The DDS Series of products offers a wide range of high performance, cost-effective DSU/CSUs. The ADTRAN DSU family of products includes standalone and rack mount products that incorporate many different features like SNMP management, automatic dial backup, auto-rate adaptation, user-selectable options, external DTE master circuit clock, as well as weekend and time of day lockout options.
A full line of T1 products from ADTRAN provides termination options ranging from economical to full-featured. ADTRAN's T1 CSU and single-port DSU/CSUs, many of which are offered in both standalone and rackmount configurations, offer a T1 termination solution without the cost of additional features. ADTRAN's full-featured single port DSU/CSU, the TSU ESP, provides optional SNMP management and dial backup for an advanced network access solution.
The ISU Series products are ideal for terminating basic rate service from PBXs and Central Offices. The ISDN Terminal Adapters are designed for solutions requiring speeds of 128 kbps. Some models have built-in NT1 functionality. ADTRAN ISDN Inverse Multiplexers provide additional functionality at rates up to 512 kbps.
The NT1 ACE Series provides a compact, easy to install standalone solution. The NT1 T400 Circuit pack provides high-density solutions for central site WAN connectivity when installed in a T400 Shelf.

The Express 5000
Series of remote access devices supports Frame Relay connectivity for
employees working from branch locations, home offices, and other remote
site locations. The Express 5110 is a Frame Relay Access Device supporting
legacy protocols and LANs with a built-in 56/64K DSU/CSU and two data
ports. The Express 5200 Series adds support for voice and dial backup. The
Express 5210 has a single data port and a 10BaseT Ethernet port for
built-in IP routing.
As Frame Relay continues to experience growth, it is becoming necessary to
enhance network reliability for critical sites. Safe-T-Net is ADTRAN's
technology that provides dial backup for network recovery of Frame Relay
traffic. Safe-T-Net is supported in ATLAS, IQ, NetVanta 3000 series, and
Express 5200 Series products.
